Job summary

SSQ in London is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Technology, Venture Capital & M&A team. The role focuses on high-growth tech transactions and requires a keen eye for complex negotiations and cross-border issues.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years' PQE and a strong track record advising technology companies, founders, venture funds and investors on VC financings, growth equity deals and M&A transactions. Excellent drafting and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' PQE in corporate law from a leading UK, US or international law firm.
• Proven experience advising technology companies, founders and investors.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and an international mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work on venture capital financings, growth equity investments and M&A deals.
• Handle cross-border corporate transactions and disposals.
• Collaborate with partners and client teams to manage complex workflows.
• Provide direct client exposure and contribute to deal strategy.
