Job summary

Whytematter, a Belfast-based insurance broker, is seeking an experienced Corporate Account Manager to join its team. You will manage a varied portfolio of mid-sized and larger clients, supporting senior colleagues in delivering first-class insurance programmes across Property and Casualty.

You will handle renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy queries, while building strong relationships with clients and insurers and ensuring clear, timely advice and rigorous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ commercial or corporate insurance broking experience.
• Experience handling complex risks for larger clients.
• Good technical knowledge across Property and Casualty.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, policy queries and general account servicing.
• Support the delivery of insurance programmes for mid-sized and larger corporate clients.
• Work with insurers to obtain and negotiate appropriate coverage and terms.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide clear and timely advice based on clients’ requirements and market conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets regulatory and internal standards.

Job description

An established insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Corporate Account Manager to join its Belfast-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional with strong commercial or corporate broking experience to work with a varied portfolio of mid-sized and larger clients. You will support senior colleagues in delivering high-quality insurance programmes while taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of client accounts across a broad range of Property and Casualty risks.

Key responsibilities:

About you:

• At least three years’ commercial or corporate insurance broking experience
• Experience handling complex risks and the requirements of larger clients
• Good technical knowledge across Property and Casualty insurance
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills
• Confident managing renewals and competing priorities
• Highly organised, accurate and client-focused
• CII qualified or working towards a relevant qualification would be advantageous
