We are delighted to be partnering with this world-leading insurance broking organisation that is seeking an accomplished Account Director to join its highly successful Belfast office.

You'll inherit an established six-figure brokerage income portfolio of corporate accounts to manage and develop, whilst benefiting from the considerable resources, specialist expertise and extensive network of one of the biggest names in the global insurance market. One of the biggest attractions of this position is the calibre and diversity of the clients you'll be dealing with. This broker enjoys relationships with some fascinating businesses, spanning sectors such as technology, manufacturing, construction, waste management, wholesaling, charities and property ownership, amongst many others.

As Account Director, you'll take ownership of your portfolio, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring they receive the highest standards of technical advice and service. Working closely with experienced Account Handlers and specialist colleagues, you'll oversee renewals, negotiate with insurers and develop tailored insurance and risk management solutions that meet your clients' evolving requirements.

You'll also play an important role in growing the portfolio, identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products and services, whilst developing relationships with prospective clients and professional introducers. As such, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the relationship management side of corporate broking but also has the commercial flair and ambition to develop some new business.

We're keen to hear from experienced Corporate (or Commercial) Account Executives or Account Directors who have a strong working knowledge of the major commercial insurance classes and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients. You'll have excellent communication and negotiation skills, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to advise senior decision-makers on their insurance and risk management requirements.
