Job summary

Executive Network Legal Limited is seeking a Corporate Finance Solicitor to join its Cheltenham office, working on a high-quality, varied caseload for a national law firm with an impressive client base.

You will advise on acquisition and lending transactions, MBOs/MBIs, refinancing, security arrangements and related corporate matters, with strong drafting and client-care skills and the opportunity to collaborate across banking and commercial teams.

The Role

You will join an established and growing team, advising clients on a broad range of corporate finance and transactional matters.

Your work is likely to include:

• Acquisition and disposal finance
• Corporate lending and secured lending transactions
• Acquisition finance
• MBOs and MBIs
• Refinancing and restructuring transactions
• Security and guarantee arrangements
• Investment and shareholder funding
• Advising lenders, borrowers and corporate clients
• Supporting wider corporate transactions and complex commercial matters

You will have significant client contact and the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the firm's wider corporate, banking and commercial teams.

About You

The successful candidate is likely to be a Corporate Finance Solicitor with solid post-qualification experience, although applications from lawyers with strong relevant transactional experience will be considered.

You will ideally have:

• Strong experience in corporate finance/banking transactions
• Excellent technical and drafting skills
• Experience managing transactions from instruction through to completion
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent client-care and communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively within a national team
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach

You will be commercially astute, technically strong and confident dealing directly with clients.
