A dynamic, acquisitive group in the South West is looking to hire a Corporate Development Manager to join their high-performing in-house M&A and strategy team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Top 6 ACA-qualified professional (or equivalent) with a background in Transaction Services or Corporate Finance to move into a hands-on commercial role — driving deals from origination through to integration and shaping the group’s long-term growth strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the end-to-end M&A process: valuation, due diligence, financial modelling, and board presentations
  • Working directly with the CFO and Head of Strategy on acquisition strategy, target identification and deal execution
  • Developing investment cases and scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making
  • Liaising with advisors, legal teams, and stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth transaction delivery
  • Playing a key role in post-deal integration and value creation

What we’re looking for:

  • ACA-qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained in a Top 6 firm
  • Experience in Transaction Services, Lead Advisory, or Corporate Finance
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Appetite to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
