Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Corporate Development Associate to join our team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing our M&A roll-up strategy, focused on identifying, evaluating, and executing deals to drive growth and value creation for Indicor. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Deal Origination and Evaluation:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Assess target companies’ strategic fit, financial performance, and operational capabilities.
  • Administer the monthly M&A funnel, updating and maintaining a comprehensive overview of potential transactions.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's overall strategic plan.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analyses and industry trends.
  • Lead and coordinate the due diligence process, including financial, legal, operational, and commercial assessments.
  • Work closely with external advisors and internal teams to identify risks and opportunities associated with potential acquisitions.

Financial Analysis and Valuation:

  • Develop detailed financial models to assess acquisition opportunities, including valuation, scenario analysis, and synergy quantification
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making in the M&A process.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for executive leadership and board review.

Deal Execution:

  • Support negotiations on deal structure, pricing, and terms.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing key transaction documents, including NDAs, LOIs, and purchase agreements.
  • Ensure smooth transaction closing.

Strategic Contributions:

  • Provide insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and execution of post-merger integration plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and realization of synergies.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, financial diligence, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting.
  • Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or related sectors is desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with M&A due diligence processes and legal documentation.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
