Job summary

Lloyd Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Corporate Credit Analyst for a newly created opportunity with a market leading, international brand. The role focuses on financial analysis and underwriting to support lending decisions across the group, with exposure to lending requests from £250k to £250m.

Initial 12-month fixed term contract with a Hybrid work pattern (2 office/3 WFH) after a onboarding period.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of financial analysis and underwriting for corporate customers.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including: VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, PivotTables, Macros.
• Basic PowerPoint and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed financial analysis and prepare credit reviews and lending recommendations.
• Review and assess underwriting submissions within delegated authority.
• Analyse MI to identify early warning signals, risk indicators and adverse trends.
• Recommend appropriate review frequencies and stock audit controls.
• Review financial information and escal... to ensure governance and compliance.
• Provide guidance on credit and underwriting to colleagues across the business.
• Support management of funding facilities, current accounts, term loans and mortgages.

Corporate Credit Analyst

We are seeking a credit professional with knowledge of corporate financial analysis and underwriting to join this leading local employer.

This position will be a key role in the lending decisions across the group, with funding requests ranging from £250k-250m. Carrying out financial performance analysis, identifying potential risks, providing guidelines and recommendations to substantiate or decline sound lending decisions, and ensure sustainable business growth.

Taking into account the above points, we are therefore seeking someone who can combine strong analytical skills with sound commercial judgement.
