Job summary

Lloyd Recruitment is seeking a Corporate Credit Analyst for a market-leading, international brand near Epsom. The role covers financial analysis and underwriting for lending across the group, with funding requests from £250k to £250m.

You will assess risks, drive lending recommendations, ensure SOX/AML/GDPR compliance, and support facilities, accounts and mortgages. Hybrid work to follow after 1 month, with a 12-month FTC.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of financial analysis and underwriting for corporate customers
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including: VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, PivotTables, Macros
• Basic PowerPoint and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out detailed financial analysis and prepare credit reviews and lending recommendations.
• Review and assess underwriting submissions within delegated authority.
• Analyse MI to identify early warning signals, risk indicators and adverse trends.
• Recommend appropriate review frequencies and stock audit controls.
• Review financial information and elevate concerns where appropriate.
• Ensure relevant processes comply with SOX, Anti-Money Laundering and GDPR requirements.
• Provide guidance and expertise on credit, financial analysis, underwriting and facility approval to colleagues across the business.
• Support the management of funding facilities, current accounts, term loans and mortgages.
