Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Partner in Bournemouth to lead and grow the firm's regional practice on the South Coast.

The successful candidate will manage £5m-£10m+ M&A transactions, develop key client relationships and drive new business while shaping strategy and mentoring junior lawyers in a hybrid, modern firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ PQE in Corporate & Commercial law.
• Strong private company M&A and corporate advisory experience.
• Proven business development and referrer network.
• Experience advising entrepreneurs, SMEs and growth businesses.
• Ambition to lead and develop a team.
• International or cross-border experience is a plus.

A leading regional firm is looking for a Corporate & Commercial Partner to join its growing Bournemouth team. This is a genuine growth opportunity for a senior lawyer who wants to lead, win work and shape a practice, rather than simply inherit a desk.

About You

You’ll be a 10+ PQE Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with:

• Strong private company M&A and corporate advisory experience
• Experience handling £5m-£10m+ transactions
• A proven business development track record and referrer network
• Experience advising entrepreneurs, SMEs and growth businesses
• Ambition to lead and develop a team
• Additional commercial, IP, banking or VC/PE experience advantageous
• International or cross-border experience a plus
