Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Partner (10+ PQE) to join a top-tier London firm. The role focuses on growing the department, developing client relationships, and handling high-value M&A and corporate advisory work.

You will work alongside senior lawyers in a collaborative, hybrid environment, with strategic opportunities to lead and develop entrepreneurial clients. The firm supports career growth and market-leading​ services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in private company M&A and corporate advisory work.
• Experience advising entrepreneurs, SMEs, and international clients.
• Ability to handle transactions in the £5M-£10M+ range.
• Proven business development ability and referrer network.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
• A commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to build and lead a team.
• Confidence working autonomously in a modern, hybrid environment.
• International exposure or language skills would be advantageous.

The Role:

The firm is seeking a Company Commercial Partner to join their team and play a key role in its continued expansion. This is a strategic hire focused on growth, with responsibility for developing client relationships, driving new business, and helping to build out the department over time. You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers, including multiple Legal 500-ranked practitioners and Heads of Department, within a high-performing Corporate team.
