Job Title: Corporate Business Development Manager, England, GB

Overview

As a Corporate Development Manager, you will drive sustainable, profitable growth focusing solely on acquiring new business. You will manage contracts valued between £3.0m and £20m across various sectors, contributing significantly to Biffa’s growth. The role offers an uncapped bonus (£25K OT) and a company car or allowance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute strategies for new volume and revenue growth in the FM/Public Sector and Hospitality and Retail sectors.
  2. Focus on new business acquisition and building long-term client relationships.
  3. Lead high-value tender responses and coordinate with internal stakeholders for seamless delivery.
  4. Manage the sales process from lead generation to negotiation and handover to the account management team.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams and continually develop your skills.
  6. Create and analyze cost models in Excel to support proposals.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a corporate sales role with a history of securing contracts over £1M.
  • Proven success in developing long-term business relationships with multiple stakeholders, with deal cycles of 12-18 months.
  • Experience in creating compelling value propositions and tender responses.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
