Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College in Worcester is seeking a CORE Tutor/Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across the CORE Pathways and Impact programmes. This 0.8 FTE post (29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks) requires Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to gain, with the college delivering inclusive learning across multiple campuses.

You will create ILPs, monitor progress and support learners to progression, with CPD and development opportunities within HoW.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Maths and English or willingness to gain.
• Experience delivering high‑quality teaching and learning.
• Ability to support learners with diverse needs and barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and monitor progress.
• Deliver Personal Development programmes and Functional Skills English/Maths.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to learners and ensure wellbeing.
• Plan and deliver community projects, enrichment and progression activities.
