Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a 1:1 Core Subjects Tutor in Wrexham for a learner, starting September 2026. The role offers 5-15 hours per week on an ongoing basis, with personalised tuition and progress tracking.

The tutor will deliver sessions across core subjects, plan engaging lessons, identify learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies to meet the learner’s needs. Relevant teaching experience and DBS update are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous tutoring or teaching children/young people.
• Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects.
• Experience delivering 1:1 support is beneficial.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible approach to planning and delivery.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional references relating to working with children.
