Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Liverpool is seeking a passionate Core Subjects Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition across core subjects. You will tailor sessions to the learner's academic level, strengths and development areas, and create engaging, purposeful activities to boost understanding and confidence.

The role involves establishing starting points and learning objectives, preparing targeted lessons, addressing gaps, adapting resources and teaching methods, monitoring progress and providing

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people.
• Strong knowledge of core secondary subjects.
• Previous 1:1 experience is beneficial.
• Flexible and learner-focused approach.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional references involving work with children.

Hours: 5-15 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Core Subjects Tutor to provide individualised educational support in Liverpool.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a 1:1 basis and able to tailor tuition to the learner's academic level, strengths and areas for development.
