Job summary

Targeted Provision is actively recruiting Core Subject SEND tutors and teachers in the UK to support disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEND and SEMH needs.

Roles are self-employed, offering flexible in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching across KS1- KS5 with trauma-informed approaches. You will plan lessons, report progress, and collaborate with local authorities and schools to transform outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online, and hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEND needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring as part of a flexible approach.
