Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Newport is recruiting a Cooking Operative Rotating Days/Nights to operate, monitor and maintain production equipment, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. Youll identify faults and resolve them to keep production running smoothly, and support the wider team on the assembly line.

During shifts, you will follow strict hygiene procedures to protect both product quality and staff, with a commitment to teamwork and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well within a team and follow processes with great attention to detail.
• Willingness to rotate between day and night shifts and operate production equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve faults to keep production running smoothly.

Monthly Rotation: 3 weeks working 3 x 12 hours, 1 week working 4 x 12 hours (rotating days & nights 05.00-17.00/17.00-05.00)

About the role

As a member of the team, you are responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure products are made safely, consistently, and to the highest quality standards.You'll identify and resolve any issues or faults to keep production running smoothly, and when the machinery is running well, you'll support the wider team by helping out on the assembly line.Throughout your shift, you'll also follow strict hygiene and safety procedures to protect both product quality and everyone working on the line
