Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting for a Cook to join our Clifton House team in Belfast. The role involves supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation, and maintaining HACCP records.

The position is 30 hours per week with a two-week rotating rota, including weekends. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, hold Food Hygiene Level 3, and demonstrate a customer-focused, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Food Hygiene Level 3 qualification.
• Must be able to work alternate weekends.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude.
• Leads by example and upholds company values.

Responsibilities

• Assist in smooth kitchen operation to maintain high food quality.
• Plan, prepare, cook and present food to a high standard.
• Ensure stock control procedures are followed and recorded.
• Maintain HACCP records and daily checks.
• Keep environments safe per health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as requested by Unit Manager.
