Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cook for Clifton House, Belfast. The role focuses on preparing and cooking all food to a high standard while following HACCP regulations and maintaining service readiness.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience required.
• Experience in a busy kitchen preferred.
• Solid knowledge of HACCP regulations.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Experience in contract catering is desirable.
• NVQ L2/L3 or City & Guilds 706/1&2 or above.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to a high standard.
• Ensure the service counter is prepped for service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all facility users.
• Work as part of a team to ensure timely service.
• Complete necessary administration within remit.
• Assist in opening/closing duties as required.
• Report defective equipment to Line Manager.
• Ensure all food is labelled correctly and portions controlled.
• Comply with HACCP regulations.
