Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm

Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich

About the Role

To support the Cook Manager in daily operations and, in their absence, manage the catering services at Acorn Park School. Maintain high standards of hygiene and practice in food preparation to ensure quality care for students.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing and cooking main dishes, vegetarian options, desserts, cakes, salads, and various diets across two refectories on a rota system.
2. Complete food, snack, cooking, and picnic orders.
3. Check and store deliveries appropriately.
4. Serve food, wash up, and clean refectories after service.
5. Perform regular cleaning tasks as scheduled (daily, weekly, monthly).
