Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook at one of our Ministry of Defence sites in Aylesbury. You will prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals, working 40 hours per week across 5 days in a shift pattern 05:00–13:30 and 11:00–19:30.

Join a supportive team in a professional kitchen, follow food safety standards, and contribute to great dining experiences for military personnel. Prior catering experience is preferred, IOSH and MS Office knowledge are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a catering or hospitality environment.
• A catering qualification is desirable, but not essential.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Able to work well as part of a team in a busy kitchen.
• A genuine passion for cooking and providing high-quality food and service.
• Experience in military or government catering would be an advantage.
• IOSH qualification and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office would be desirable.
