Job summary

Headhunter Legal & Professional Ltd. is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Property Department in London.

You will manage a varied caseload independently, handling freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity. The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years' PQE in Residential Conveyancing, strong client care and communication skills, and is comfortable working in a supportive team with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years' PQE in Residential Conveyancing.
• Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent communication and client-care skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Experience with complex property transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Advise on new-build properties, Help to Buy and shared ownership transactions.
• Deal with lease extensions and registered and unregistered properties.
• Draft and review contracts, legal documentation and property-related correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other legal professionals.
• Work closely with the firm's Private Client Department where required.
• Develop and maintain strong client and referrer relationships.
• Support networking and business development initiatives.

About the Role

We are working with an established law firm seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Property Department.

This opportunity is ideal for a Solicitor or experienced Conveyancer with 1–3+ years' PQE or equivalent experience, who is confident managing a varied residential property caseload independently.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team with an established client base and opportunities for career progression, business development and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
