Job summary

Law Staff Limited seeks a Conveyancing Solicitor to manage a broad residential conveyancing caseload with training provided. You will handle sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity, offering expert advice and maintaining meticulous records.

The role supports a hybrid work model (4 days in the office, 1 day from home) with a bonus structure and pension plan. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with England & Wales status and full range of residential conveyancing matters.
• Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion.
• Handle sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients throughout the process.
• Conduct title checks, property searches and due diligence.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence; maintain records and communications.
• Collaborate with clients, estate agents and lenders to ensure timely transactions.

Are you a Conveyancing Solicitor looking to join a reputable and growing law firm who can offer a supportive working environment close to Exeter?

Key Responsibilities for the Conveyancing Solicitor role:

• Managing a broad and varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Experience in self-build or new-build work is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Any commercial property experience would be an advantage

Qualifications and Experience for this Conveyancing Solicitor role:

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales from Newly qualified upwards, handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters
• Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using conveyancing software and other legal technology.
