Job summary

Law Staff Limited, a well-established law firm in East London, seeks an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join the Property Department. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build properties, from instruction to completion.

In a fast-paced environment, you will deliver high-quality client care, liaise with agents and lenders, and draft and review contracts while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with current practicing certificate.
• Minimum 2 years' PQE in residential conveyancing (candidates with more or less experience showing required skills will be considered).
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build properties and Right to Buy matters.
• Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
• Draft and review contracts and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate file records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to growth and success of the department.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to deliver a high standard of client care while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities for this Conveyancing Solicitor role:

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • New build properties
  • Right to Buy matters
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation.
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department

Requirements for this Conveyancing Solicitor role:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.

• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.

• Experience using case management systems is desirable.
