Job description

We are looking to expand our accredited conveyancing team with the addition of an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our busy and expanding department in our Redcar office.

Job Purpose:

To provide professional, efficient, and proactive support to Fee Earners dealing with all residential aspects of Sale, Purchase, New Build, and Leasehold/Freehold properties.

Secretarial Duties:
  1. Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and mortgage advisers
  2. Handling Sales, Purchases & Transfers of Equity
  3. Drafting contracts
  4. Ordering online pre-contract searches
  5. Submitting OS1 & K16 searches at HMLR
  6. Drafting basic completion statements
  7. Requesting redemption statements
  8. Filing HMLR online applications
  9. Completing and submitting online basic SDLT returns
  10. Diary management
Skills/Qualifications:

Teamworking, telephone skills, verbal communication, Microsoft Office skills, taking instructions, professionalism, customer focus, organization skills, ability to work in a sometimes pressurised environment.
