Paralegal – Conveyancing
Location: Newport

TSR Legal are pleased to be partnering with a well‑established and reputable law firm that is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join its Support Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build and develop their legal career within a highly supportive and professional environment.

Role Overview

As a Paralegal, you will work closely with Fee Earners across the residential property department, providing essential legal and administrative support. This role offers fantastic exposure to a broad range of legal matters and is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Fee Earners with a variety of legal tasks, including:
    • Legal research
    • Drafting and preparing legal documents
    • Attending and conducting client meetings
    • Managing administrative duties such as file opening, filing/e‑filing, and document collation
  • Handling client communication via email, telephone, and Microsoft Teams
  • Monitoring Fee Earners’ matters during periods of absence, ensuring smooth information flow and continuity
  • Keeping up to date with professional development through seminars, webinars, and internal training
  • Managing incoming emails and post, ensuring Fee Earners receive information promptly
  • Ensuring compliance with Anti‑Money Laundering regulations and completing required training
  • Supporting wider business initiatives, including marketing and networking events
  • Providing assistance to other Fee Earners and departments when required
Key Skills & Experience
  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a conveyancing support role
