Job summary

AuRoLog Talent is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join an established engineering business delivering bespoke machinery, automation and control systems across manufacturing environments. You will apply hands-on PLC, HMI and SCADA programming to design, develop and commission bespoke control solutions.

The role involves collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams, supporting panel build and customer handover, and taking ownership of projects from design to completion.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming experience.
• Experience designing controls for automated machinery from scratch.
• Proven track record in developing bespoke automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, install, commission and hand over automation projects.
• Develop bespoke control systems and collaborate with mechanical/electrical teams; support panel build and on-site commissioning; manage projects to completion.
