Job summary

Automation Experts is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering business delivering advanced control and automation solutions across the UK. You will work on energy, infrastructure and technology projects with varied, meaningful work and clear progression.

Competitive pay and strong development support are provided. Based near the Derbyshire border, the role is office-based with ~20% site work across UK projects.

Qualifications

Ideally, solid experience in the design of PLC/HMI AND SCADA software.
Competent with at least one of Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell.
Able to read/modify electrical schematics.
Preferably hold a BEng/BSc in an electrical based subject, however experience is key.
Essential to complete all documentation including FDS, FAT & SAT.
Office based with ~20% on-site UK work.

Responsibilities

Concept PLC, HMI & SCADA software design & development
Design & configuration of industrial networks
Liaising directly with customers to support on all projects
Completion of all documentation including FDS
Site installation & commissioning
