Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Senior Logistics Operations Manager – Control Tower to design and build a centralised Control Tower. You will lead day‑to‑day operations, drive real‑time visibility, and act as the main escalation point for disruptions, coordinating with global teams across Derby, Manchester or Warrington.

• Experience creating control tower environments across geographies.
• Strong KPI, reporting and analytics capability.
• Experience working with 3PL/4PL partners and logistics networks.
• Commercial awareness of logistics costs and performance drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the global logistics control tower.
• Ensure real-time visibility of shipments, inventory and transport performance across all modes and locations.
• Primary escalation point for logistics disruptions, delays and service failures.
• Define and monitor logistics KPIs, delivering reports, dashboards and insights.
