Job summary
SimWest Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to work across PLC software development and electrical design for industrial machinery and automation projects in Norwich. You will contribute to software, electrical CAD drawings, panel design and commissioning, with minimal travel required due to remote commissioning activities.

Qualifications
- Strong PLC software development background.
- Electrical design experience preferred.
- Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs.
- HMI software development experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC software using Siemens and AB/Rockwell platforms.
- Design and program HMI systems for machinery operation and control.
- Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and related documentation.
- Develop integrated electrical and software solutions for new machinery and projects.
- Test, troubleshoot and optimise software and electrical systems.
- Support remote commissioning and occasional customer site visits.
