Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Banbury is seeking a Control Panel Wireman / Assembler to build, wire and assemble complex electrical control panels from detailed schematics. This permanent, full‑time role offers flexible shifts: 6am‑2:30pm, 8am‑4:30pm, or 9am‑5pm, Monday to Friday, with salary between £26,436 and £32,448 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings and BOMs.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with SMT assembly and high‑quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control panels to high industrial standards.
• Install relays, transformers, PLCs, and power supplies in enclosures.
• Read schematics and BOMs to guide assembly.
• Perform SMT assembly where required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.
• Document work and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Assist with basic testing and inspection as needed.
