Job summary

Manpower Recruitment, partnering with a Banbury client, is seeking a skilled Control Panel Wireman/Assembler to build, wire and assemble complex electrical control panels from detailed schematics. This full-time, permanent role offers hands-on engineering experience and long-term stability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Flexibility on shift times (6am-2:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, 9am-5pm) Monday-Friday; salary £12.71-£15.50 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring and assembling electrical control panels.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Interest in PLCs and automation (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control panels to industrial standards.
• Install relays, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs and power supplies.
• Read electrical schematics, drawings and BOM.
• Perform SMT assembly where required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, wire strippers and torque drivers safely.
• Maintain neat wiring layouts and documentation.
• Support basic testing and inspection, including continuity testing.
