Job summary

ITI Group in Glasgow is seeking a Control and Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. You will help design, develop, integrate and test complex control systems for diverse clients, covering the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and project management colleagues to deliver safe, reliable solutions on time and within budget, while continuing to expand your technical knowledge in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a relevant qualification or 4 years’ experience in systems engineering or equivalent role.
• Good understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of SCADA, PLC and HMI packages.
• Familiarity and experience with system integration processes, tools and technologies.
• A basic understanding of industry and company quality management systems, process and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures, designs, and detailed specifications to meet client requirements.
• Integrate subsystems and components to form a cohesive system.
• Execute system testing and validation activities to verify design specifications and performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including requirements, design specifications, test plans and manuals.
• Engage with project teams to identify and resolve technical issues and support commissioning at client sites.
