Job summary

SABIC is seeking an Engineer, Control & Automation to provide control engineering expertise for the Wilton and North Tees sites. The role focuses on developing and implementing control strategies to enhance safety, reliability and efficiency across LDPE, ethylene logistics and related facilities.

The engineer will run advanced process control schemes, manage PES change control, and collaborate with DCS/OT teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Process Engineering, Instrumentation or Control Engineering or an equivalent trade qualification.
• Significant experience in the Process Control domain and running control schemes.
• Knowledge of Honeywell Experion DCS and AspenTech products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of control strategies to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Run Advanced Process Control schemes and MES systems.
• Support operations in troubleshooting and performance optimization.
