Job summary

Join Actemium Automation Teesside, part of the VINCI Group, as a Senior Control Systems Engineer. Based in Billingham or Worksop, you will lead projects across PLC, DCS and SCADA domains, deliver design and test documentation, and conduct on-site commissioning using Siemens PCS 7 and PlantPAx.

You will foster strong customer and supplier relationships, write software, and train customers while growing technically and taking ownership on projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms, including Siemens PCS 7 and PlantPAx.
• Experience writing software and working with customers to deliver projects.
• Experience in commissioning and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred.
• Experience working in an engineering environment.
• Aptitude to lead engineers on projects and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish.
• Foster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Produce design and test documentation.
• Develop PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA software, including platforms such as Siemens PCS 7 and Rockwell PlantPAx.
• Perform testing with customers, carrying out on-site commissioning.
• Compile training manuals and run customer training sessions.
