Job summary

Construction is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of social housing refurbishment contracts from Head Office, coordinating Project Managers and installation teams across the UK.

You will drive safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence while maintaining strong client relationships and commercial oversight. A proven leadership track record and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Contracts Manager in construction, fenestration, social housing, refurbishment or related sector.
• Experience managing multiple projects and operational teams.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and contract management abilities.
• Experience in social housing sector advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple social housing refurbishment contracts across the UK.
• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and installation teams.
• Monitor project performance, programmes and commercial objectives.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, housing associations and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project reviews and performance meetings.
• Resolve operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments including commercial, production, procurement and customer service.
• Support growth and development of the commercial division.
