Novus Property Solutions in Yeovil seeks a Contracts Manager who will oversee a team in delivering responsive repairs and void works. The successful candidate will lead site personnel, manage contracts ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets, and foster community relationships.

Location: Yeovil office, covering around Bristol, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. Typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours.
As a Contracts Manager for Novus, you will see the impact and improvements your role delivers to customers and the team every day. This varied and challenging role offers you the opportunity to work with and manage a skilled and professional team, a secure environment with long‑term contracts, and the opportunity to grow and learn. With responsibility for successfully leading a small team of Site Managers delivering Responsive repairs and Void works in a Social Housing setting, you will ensure contracts are completed to programme, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to Health & Safety of their operation team, the client, or the public. The successful candidate will be client‑facing and have extensive knowledge of Responsive repairs and voids within a Social Housing environment, with the team delivering around 65 responsive jobs daily and 12 voids per week.
Along with utilising your Contracts Management skills, you’ll also be looking for ways to add real social value to the communities and customers you work with. Supported by your peers, team, and management to solve problems and trusted to make decisions to grow and develop relationships and revenue.
As an experienced Contracts Manager you will have experience working within a responsive repairs and void works contract, including both internal and external works, within a social housing environment. Ideally you will hold SMSTS or associated NVQ, but if this has expired we will support you to renew; it is the knowledge and skills that go with the qualification that are essential to us. Our preferred candidate will be experienced, knowledgeable, a self‑starter focused on delivery and able to communicate well with the team to ensure everyday runs smoothly. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence to travel to sites daily along with a DBS check.
