Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting a Contracts Manager for a leading social housing contractor in Yeovil. The role focuses on responsive repairs, voids, damp & mould, disrepair, and aids & adaptations, with a strong emphasis on operational and commercial performance.

You will lead a team of four Supervisors, oversee around 65 responsive repairs per day and 12 void properties weekly, and collaborate with commercial teams to cut WIP and drive client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience working for a main contractor.
• Essential experience managing Responsive Repairs within Social Housing.
• Strong operational and commercial management experience.
• Experience leading supervisors, direct labour, and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of KPIs, WIP management, SOPs, PPP, CDM and CPP.
• Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of responsive repairs, voids, damp & mould, disrepair, and aids & adaptations.
• Manage a team of 4 Supervisors and approximately 65 responsive repair jobs per day and 12 void properties per week.
• Work with operational and commercial teams to reduce WIP, improve performance, and manage subcontractors.

Location: Yeovil (Hybrid - 3-4 days office/site based) Salary: Up to £58,000 + Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading property services contractor delivering a long-term social housing framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Responsive Repairs to take responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of a busy social housing contract. You'll oversee the delivery of responsive repairs, voids, damp & mould, disrepair, and aids & adaptations, ensuring excellent customer service while achieving contractual KPIs.
