Job summary

City Gate Construction Ltd seeks a Contracts Manager to join our Facilities Management team. You will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, lead in-house teams and subcontractors, and drive on-time, within-budget delivery.

You will be the main contact for clients, tenants and staff, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining records. A proven background in maintenance contracts and social housing projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing maintenance projects (planned and reactive).
• Strong leadership of teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication with clients, tenants and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage your team to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Oversee all aspects of maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, tenants, and staff to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring their performance meets our expectations.
• Manage maintenance works in both void and tenanted properties.
• Keep accurate records of project progress, budgets, and any changes to scope.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations on-site.
