Job summary

1st Executive is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction, engineering, maintenance and operational contracts, ranging from £100k to £10m+. You will work closely with the Projects team to negotiate commercial agreements, manage contractual risks and ensure contracts are administered from tender to completion.

Qualifications

• Strong background in construction or engineering contracts management for complex industrial projects.
• Practical experience with NEC4 contracts.
• Proven ability to negotiate tenders, variations and claims.
• Experience managing post-award contracts, change control and contractual obligations.
• Solid understanding of contract law and commercial risk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of contracts from tender through to completion.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage contractual risks with the Projects team.
• Ensure effective contract administration and governance across high-value projects.
• Lead multi-contract coordination and strategic commercial issues on delivery.
