Job summary

1st Executive Ltd is recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction, engineering, maintenance and operational contracts. The role requires strong experience in NEC4 contracts, complex industrial projects, and proven negotiation skills to manage tenders, variations and claims.

You will work closely with the Projects team to negotiate commercial agreements and ensure contracts are effectively administered from tender stage through to completion.

Qualifications

• Strong background in construction or engineering contracts management, ideally within complex industrial projects.
• Practical experience of NEC4 contracts.
• Proven commercial negotiation skills, including tenders, variations and claims.
• Experience managing post-award contracts, change control, commercial risks and contractual obligations.
• Good understanding of contract law and commercial risk.
• Ability to manage multiple high-value contracts simultaneously.

I am recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction, engineering, maintenance and operational contracts, ranging from £100k to £10m+.

Working closely with the Projects team, you will negotiate commercial agreements, manage contractual risks and ensure contracts are effectively administered from tender stage through to completion.

Key Experience Required

Strong background in construction or engineering contracts management, ideally within complex industrial projects.

Practical experience of NEC4 contracts.

Proven commercial negotiation skills, including tenders, variations and claims.

Experience managing post-award contracts, change control, commercial risks and contractual obligations.

Good understanding of contract law and commercial risk.

Ability to manage multiple high-value contracts simultaneously.
