Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee demolition/construction projects from our Nottingham office. You will travel to site locations, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects valued around £400,000, typically lasting about 3 months.

You will lead on safety, schedule, and budget, build relationships with Tier 1 clients, and drive commercial performance while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification is essential.
• Proven experience managing demolition/construction projects with strong client liaison.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

An established and highly respected demolition and waste management subcontractor based in Nottingham is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects delivered for leading Tier 1 principal contractors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Contracts Manager with a background in demolition, enabling works, construction, or civil engineering who is looking to join a growing business with a strong reputation in the industry.

The Role

Working from the Nottingham office with regular site visits, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects valued at around £400,000, typically running for approximately 3 months.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple demolition and construction projects from mobilisation through to completion
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and performance
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Tier 1 contractor clients
• Managing project programmes, resources, and commercial performance
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures
• Producing project reports and attending client meetings
• Supporting operational planning and business growth activities

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Senior Site Manager, or Operations Manager
• Background in demolition highly desirable, although applicants from a wider construction sector will also be considered
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion
• Good commercial awareness and organisational skills
• Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and project management systems
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
