Responsabilidades

• Conduct site surveys and client meetings to understand project requirements.
• Develop practical and commercially viable solutions for clients.
• Prepare estimates, quotations and project proposals.
• Present proposals and recommendations to clients.
• Follow up quotations and secure orders.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle from enquiry through to completion.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and in-house engineering teams.
• Oversee delivery of mechanical, HVAC and FM-related works.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and maintain regular client communication.
• Build and develop long-term client relationships.
• Liaise with internal departments and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify opportunities for additional works and account growth.
• Ensure all contractual, commercial and quality requirements are met.

Facilities Management Contracts Manager

Location: Manchester (with travel as required)

Salary: £55,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Contracts Manager to join a growing and dynamic building services business.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires an individual capable of managing projects and contracts from initial enquiry through to successful completion. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, conducting site surveys, preparing quotations, presenting solutions to clients, securing orders and overseeing delivery through both in-house engineers and specialist subcontractors.

The role is heavily focused on mechanical and HVAC works, although a broader FM and building services understanding would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical, HVAC or a related sector.
• Proven experience managing contracts, projects or minor works from start to finish.
• Experience carrying out site surveys and producing quotations.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from conception through to handover. They will be comfortable surveying sites, pricing works, winning business and managing delivery, rather than simply overseeing existing contracts.
