Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited in Slough is recruiting an experienced Facilities Management Contract Manager to oversee a seven-site portfolio in the Slough area. The role offers hybrid working and leadership of a small team.

You will drive service delivery, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on performance with responsibility for budgets, KPIs and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager or senior FM leader within facilities management.
• Experience managing multi-site FM contracts or complex facilities operations.
• Strong commercial awareness including budget management and cost control.
• Experience leading and developing operational teams.
• Understanding of FM service delivery, compliance, KPIs and SLAs.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for facilities management service delivery across seven sites.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of four direct reports.
• Manage contract performance, budgets, KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement.
• Develop innovative solutions that deliver measurable value for the client.
• Oversee statutory compliance, health and safety and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and service partners.
• Provide clear performance reporting, financial oversight and recommendations for improvement.

We're recruiting an experienced Facilities Management Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of seven sites in the Slough area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established facilities management operation in a role that offers responsibility, flexibility and the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements.

We're looking for more than someone who can manage day-to-day service delivery. Our client wants a forward-thinking, commercially astute Contract Manager who can challenge existing processes, identify cost-saving opportunities and introduce smarter ways of working.

You'll be responsible for contract performance across seven sites, managing four direct reports while building strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Experience managing multi-site FM contracts or complex facilities operations.
• Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and cost control.
• Experience leading and developing operational teams.
• Understanding of FM service delivery, compliance, KPIs and contractual performance.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Evidence of successfully improving service delivery, reducing costs or introducing operational efficiencies.
