Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager for HVAC/Construction based in Manchester. The role focuses on owning final accounts, negotiating terms with clients, and guiding project teams to protect profitability.

The successful candidate will have a Quantity Surveying background, a minimum of 3 years in commercial/contract management, and be able to manage disputes, commercial claims, and risk. On-site, full-time opportunity with competitive package.

Are you a Contracts Manager from an HVAC or Construction background looking for an engaging role resolving complex contractual matters, managing final accounts, and supporting project teams through high-value negotiations and dispute resolution?

This company are a leading specialist solutions provider who deliver high-quality commercial projects across the region. Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of commercial works, they are looking for a commercially driven Contracts Manager to oversee final accounts and strengthen contract management across their major project portfolio.

This varied role will see you taking ownership of final accounts for key projects while acting as the core point of contact for commercial and contractual advice. Working directly with clients, project teams, and directors, you will negotiate favourable terms, manage contract disputes, and safeguard project profitability.

This role would suit a Contracts Manager or Senior QS with a Quantity Surveying degree and a background in construction or HVAC, looking for a high-level commercial challenge within a respected contractor offering a strong salary package and car allowance.

The Role:

The Person:

• Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or similar commercial background

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent commercial discipline)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial/contract management experience
• Commutable to Manchester (On-site / Full-time)
