Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects and drive successful delivery from pre-construction through handover. You will coordinate programme, quality, cost controls and subcontractor performance while leading site teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires knowledge of contract management, commercial control, and strong leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager in construction.
• Main contractor background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of programme delivery, commercial control and contract management.
• Experience across sectors such as care homes, commercial, industrial, education or residential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction projects and ensure safe, successful delivery on time and within budget.

The role

• Manage multiple projects from pre-construction to handover
• Oversee programme, quality, cost and subcontractor performance
• Support and lead site teams to achieve project targets
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, contractual and technical requirements
