Job summary

Recco is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their expanding team. You will oversee a portfolio of refurbishment and construction projects, including Grade II listed buildings and healthcare schemes, with values ranging from £300,000 to £2 million.

You will lead project teams, ensure safety and quality, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors, while reporting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as contracts manager in refurbishment or healthcare projects.
• Experience managing Grade II listed buildings.
• Strong client and consultant liaison skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Oversee project teams to deliver safely, on time, within budget.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor programme performance, quality standards and commercial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Attend client meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Identify and manage project risks and ensure successful delivery.

Established over 30 years ago, the company now turnover in the region of 30 million and they have established a long track record of great performance within London and the Home Counties.

They are ideally suited for construction works from planned maintenance to 7.5 million new build, refurbishment or fit out works.

The Role

our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of refurbishment and construction projects, including Grade II listed buildings, cut and carve refurbishments, and healthcare schemes, with project values typically ranging from 300,000 to 2 million.
