Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and deliver complex residential, heritage and commercial projects in Oxfordshire. You will manage from tender through to completion, ensuring the vision, budgets and timelines are met while directing site teams.

Available roles demand strong leadership, excellent organisation and proven multi-site management. Expect emphasis on quality, standards adherence and cross‑party coordination within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Background in construction and relevant industry knowledge and training.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to negotiate and influence.
• Health and safety management experience.
• Competent in budget management, costing and reporting.
• Leadership skills, with solid team management experience.
• Ability to set standards and monitor performance standards across multiple sites.
• Excellent organisational skills inc. track record of managing projects with competing deadlines.
