Job summary

Construction Resources Limited seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead multiple North West projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring quality, safety and commercial performance. You will manage client and contractor relationships, monitor budgets, risks and progress, and mentor site teams across residential, commercial and healthcare schemes.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the North West. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, maintaining quality, safety, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple construction projects across residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Lead and support site teams, including Project Managers and Site Managers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and risk management strategies
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Support tendering, procurement, and contract negotiations
• Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on project performance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry
• Strong background in residential and/or commercial construction (healthcare experience advantageous)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction contracts
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
