Housing Services is responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of 686 Key Worker Houses and public realm within the Eddington development in North West Cambridge, plus a further 400 residential units across Cambridge. The provision of all Repairs/Maintenance and Estate Management support is currently via a Total Facilities Management contract. There are additional support contracts related to the management and delivery of energy services through a district heat network system.
The Senior Contracts Manager is a key role within Housing Services, providing in-house expertise to support all contract management activities. This includes ensuring value for money, holding suppliers to account, and developing new and improved contracted solutions to support Housing Services and Estate Management. The role also involves acting as a key interface with Estates Development, Programme Delivery, Property Management, and Sustainability teams.
