Job summary

CHAP Group in Dundee is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple sites, enforcing CHAP processes and robust Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards. You will manage budgets and programmes, ensuring contract requirements are met and teams perform to high professional standards.

The successful candidate will lead by example, upholding CHAP’s reputation with clients and within the industry while coordinating with design teams and public authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience managing contracts, budgets and sites in construction.
• Proven ability to lead teams and liaise with design and project teams.
• Must have CSCS card and a valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programme progress, cost control, direct labour and sub-contractors.
• Coordinate with design teams to maintain information release schedules.
• Design and schedule project programmes to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Carry out site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Liaise with utilities and authorities to meet project requirements.
• Monitor notices and safety posters in the workplace.
• Lead meetings with sub-contractors; record actions weekly.
• Address delays, accidents or damage with proper procedures.
• Ensure project completion with O&M information addressing defects.
